Food safety is a primary concern across the entire supply chain. Food processors and packaging manufacturers are tasked with keeping their plants running efficiently, while preventing biological, chemical and physical contamination of their goods.
To help minimize the risk of MRO chemicals across all food processing and non-production areas, CRC developed the StopLight® Food Safety Program – a visual identification labeling program that ensures maintenance employees use and store MRO chemicals in the proper locations.
How it Works

- Who may use these products
- Where they should be stored
Non-food compounds and application areas are coded RED, YELLOW or GREEN. The stickers provide flexibility within the program, and each facility makes their own determination on:
- How to color code processing areas
- Applications
- Products satisfying HACCP initiatives
